Help ICS data limit with unlimited data

Updated to ICS almost a week ago now and haven't really had any issues until yesterday. All of a sudden started getting a message popping up stating that I've reached the specified data limit. Only one big problem...I have not gone in and set a data limit and I have an unlimited data plan. When I first got this message it continued to pop up about every 5-10 seconds. First it disconnects me from 4G, completely drops the data, then shows 3G available but does not connect, and then completely drops the data connection until rebooted.

I have confirmed with Verizon that the system still shows I have unlimited data plans on all my lines. So far Verizon's response is simulate battery pull but nothing else.

Factory reset the phone when after ICS and have wiped cache since then for other reasons, but like I said, this has been the only real problem.

Any thoughts, ideas, real knowledge?

Normally this would only happen if you have a data limit set, but it doesn't look like you do. You may want to try checking the box and adjusting the max data limit to something you don't think you'll ever reach.

Lol. Probably. My phone is my life so its nothing for me to use at least 30GB a month. So far today no messages so your idea may have been the key. Thanks again.
You are going to hate life when you upgrade your phone - or make any changes on your account like add a line.

I don't know about that. If anything I've still got another line on frozen with unlimited data so that's another two years if anything doesn't work out. And long as everything continues to be grandfathered as it has been won't be much to worry about. For some reason Verizon keeps giving me upgrades about every 6-8 months.

AndroidGreg, lol, you know telling me that is just going to make me decide one month to go for 1TB. :-)

Those "share everything" packages really SUCK...I'm glad I was able to get the 22GB plan during the short time it was offered.

I can see how many people would find them to be a good deal...as opposed to having 2 separate 5GB plans under the previous pricing, when they throw in the unlimited talk and text it makes it into something many folks will want.

But I'm not "many folks"...Verizon needs to offer up some plans for people like me...always on the road, using the phone for everything from texting to watching TV...the 22GB data plan is sufficient for that, but it is costly at $100 just for the data (the talk plan is almost another $100)

They should offer the share everything plans with bigger data packages...something like 30GB shared for $150, but that would require them to adjust the prices on the plans they already have...which needs to happen anyway because they are WAAAAY overpriced for the data they offer.

I know what you mean. I have no WiFi at work. I drive a lot, and stream Pandora. I can't be tied to wifi all day like iPoop people in starbucks.

I agree with you completely. Especially with the way the economy has been the last few years, be nice if they would help out the customers and make reasonable packages for everyone. More and more, people like me and others are getting rid of cable/dish, internet, phone services besides cell phones, newspaper subscriptions, etc cause it all costs so much.

Looking at your idea though, that wouldn't be bad at all. Say 1,000 anytime minutes, unlimited text and mobile to mobile and nights and weekends like usual, 30GB shared data, all shared by say 3 lines, $150. 5 lines and 50GB data for $200 or something. Completely doable I say.
