I think even if they change the name, I'll still refer to it as the Incredible. I've developed a strong (some might say unhealthy) emotional attachment to that name. :o

I would say mid to late next year. Trials are finishing up now and they're looking for 25-30 markets by EOY. The LTE deployment will be much like the EVDO rollout... Modems first, then handsets.

By then they'll have the SIM card stuff sorted out for the dual-mode LTE handsets.

What phone do you have? Or what phone are you going to have?

Guessing from your presence (and helpful insights ;) ) here you're interested in the incredible.
 
Ok everyone - this is what I know. People at VZW - at least here in NW Montana - have finally acknowledged that the Incredible exists. To me, that's HUGE. I was told last night that it's "unofficially official." I have NO reason to believe that it won't be announced today, or definitely before CTIA is over - but today's the big day there. My hopes are unbeliveably high today - we're going to get our phone. And based on HTC's track record of releasing new phones in regards to when they're announced, I'd say that it's sooner rather than later.
 
So what's up with the "Box" thats suppose to be opened and the HTC Rep at the store thing? those things falling through the cracks yet or what?

I feel for you guys with "inside info". We badger you until you give us just enough rope to hang you with if something isn't quite as prophesied. If I had inside information, I'd keep it to myself, lest I incur the wrath of somebody who wants pictures of a cardboard box or some other crazy thing! :D ..... Or WOULD I? :D It would be incredibly difficult to keep something like that to myself.

I hope you're right, though!

Not gonna mention any names, but we have a certain "guide" that happens to be out in the desert.
