spam Notifications?

Does anyone else get a star icon in your notifications and its like ads for various programs this morning was for a download blood brothers for free?

Is there a way I can stop these? I have Kaspersky downloaded and running also.

That sounds like Airpush, or an equivalent service, which means one of your installed apps is pushing adds to your notification bar.

This app should be able to identify which app is responsible, although I haven't used it my self.

Add Ons Detector works well...I can attest. I also then uninstall the perpetrator app once identified.
 
omg i'm having the same problem since i downloaded this mp3 downloader app this morning! i deleted the app now, hope i don't get anymore of those star or plus icons on my notification bar!
 
yeah I was getting these really stressful ads saying that my battery 'needed upgrading'. Addons Detector found the culprit.
 
I had a similar issue with google plus.
