Speed of my ace

I have bought the samsung galaxy ace few months back with android 2.3.4 . I did not installed much applications also still my phone is very slow. Just i have compared with some other phones(galaxy ace) that phones are little bit okay than my ACE. Still 80MB of internal memory is free. Even it is very close...If i open a galley it will take 3 - 4 minutes to open. Recently i heard that if some files missing in the android version then also i can face the same problem. Please can any one suggest me any tips to speed up my ACE.
