Hi all,
first off a thank you to the forum in general. It has been of tremendous help during my last two DX years (as just a reader). However, it was time to upgrade and I got a GS3. Some things are awesome, some things I kinda miss from the DX but in general I'm very happy (after three days).
Anyway, I have a question that I didn't find the answer to. Is there a way to enable the lock screen (the swipe-ripple effect thing) and the actual lock screen (e.g. the pattern to unlock) independently of each other? Most times I would have the DX in my pocket without a lock screen, but I would activate the pattern unlock with the no lock widget. However, since the On/Off button on the S3 is on the side (and can be pushed in too easily), it sometimes turns on on accident when I have it my pocket. So...for most cases I would just like to have the no-security swipe-ripple effect screen (just to prevent it from doing things I don't want it to do...) and activate the pattern unlock if I feel the need to do so.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
