It is running a lot smoother, I don't have that google sign in error problem anymore, things seem to be even snappier. I have the file saved, when I get time I'll try to upload it, not quite sure how to tho so if anyone wants to, message me with how to do it. The only thing I compared that was different from the leaked one is the kernal version numbers are different. Battery life seems better as well.

have you tried to root this so called version that you have? upload and post over to xda forum when possible

im not that advanced yet to root anything. Once I post the link in a few minutes, We will see where that takes us. I dont feel like making an account for xda right now, pretty much once this is done im going to bed.

And as far as gmail pics go, you can check :-), i dont use my gmail account at all. It's just there for back up purposes.

I can not confirm if its the official OTA one, I can only confirm that this is the latest, most recent software, pretty sure it's out of testing, again, I was handed this down from a co-worker in a high position. I'm pretty positive this will be it though, considering the difference between this and the leaked version with this one feeling more stable, faster, and not as many errors or bugs.

I don't think you have to worry about that... someone will have it spread half way across the internet 5 minutes after you post the link! lol

Ok, that's cool. I'll probably still wait for the OTA. I'm headed to bed though, I'll check this thread in the morning.

lol i think its funny how some of you might be hesitant to do this, yet the first post of the original leak was by some apparant "chinese" guy on xda who barley knew english and posted it.

I'm telling you right now, and I know people don't take the word of other people, but this is 100 percent. I'm using it and it is working amazing for me.
 
So follow-up question that the OP can't answer.... will this software survive the OTA process or will we have a repeat of the hilarious Moto Droid fiasco?

Anyway, I have faith in you, OP! [internal dialogue] But now I'm beginning the decision-making process to decide whether I should flash this shiz. I certainly have been annoyed with the bugs in the 2.1 leak, but flashing this new ROM and starting over won't give me access to any important new functionality. Surely the OTA will come soon and I can just wait, right? [/internal dialogue]

you already have 2.1 on it, it wont do it any worse, trust me, its a lot better. And same answer i have is same one i had in a previous thread, when I called HTC they said one way or another, wether its OTA or through a file from their site, you can get the rom when it is officially posted, but like I said, this is one of, if not THE official version.

from a personal stand point, I dont think this will be out this month, I think they are sitting on it, waiting for the incredible to come out.
