Help How do updates work if youre unlocked in the US?

I'm on an unlocked, unbranded GS3 on AT&T in the US. Will I still get firmware updates OTA or would I need to download them through kies or something like that? Would my updates hit along with branded AT&T phones? How does the timing tend to work?

I can't give a definitive answer, but this is what I have seen with other devices. Once Samsung approves the update the "international" or unlocked device will get it shortly after. The carrier branded ones tend to have to wait for carrier approval before they get updates.
