Droid Razr Max won't play videos after ICS update?

So after getting the stupid message every hour saying my phone is out of the current update I finally installed the new ICS update. I can't figure out why this update was ever even released. The interface is harder to use now, some of my apps no longer work, and the worst part is I can no longer watch videos on the web browser. I have tried every different browser on the Play Store and I have re-installed Adobe flash player at least 3 times. Still can't watch videos. What happens is I can hit play but then my browser totally freezes. I have to actually go into settings then to apps then force close whatever browser I am using. I have read many different threads on various forums and I can only come to one possible solution, factory rest. Now I'm not sure if this will work or not so does anyone have any input? Also I do not want to lose all my files off of my SD card so do I need to remove this before I do a factory reset? Any help on this problem I'm having is greatly appreciated.

factory reset for sure. I'm using Chrome, and have no problems. Also have adobe flash 11 installed.

for the sd card, I ALWAYS recommend removing just in case. never had a problem leaving it in, but why chance it. highly suggest setting up an auto upload account (google+, motocast, dropbox, etc) so pics you take with the camera get auto saved off the phone. this has saved my ass a few times.

lastly, I will agree with the interface and apps. it's definitely different, but easy to use once you get comfortable with it. holding the home key brings up your recently used apps, so you can swipe them off to close them without all the extra steps. apps are up to the developer to update. I had a few that borked my phone, and once I deleted them the problems went away. check for play store updates FIRST, then delete the app and contact the developer if it's still not working or there's no update.

How are you using flash with chrome? Flash isn't even supported in chrome.

Just said I have it installed. Whether or not works in conjunction with Chrome I don't know.

Some people have been having g luck with flash on ICS, others have had no luck... I had no luck, but then I did two factory resets, back to back.. now I have no issues with my device... but that's just me... another person might have issues with this same device..

Depending on what you are trying to watch.. make sure flash player and adobe air are installed. Chrome will play youtube vids and most all stuff in desktop mode. Dolphin hd browser i use to watch southpark. Its the only browser that will work for that.. the stock browser is junk..

I have completely given up trying to watch videos, with the exception of youtube. Nothing else will play, and I have done a factory reset, I don't care to go through the hassle of that again.
