No. We never had confirmation. We just hoped. So, now that we know that they are and that the editor of mobileburn.com is there and that he said that he saw a VZW exec. with a new sexy unannounced HTC smartphone, I think that would have to definitely be the Incredible. mobileburn.com is a very good site and it's not just some trashy rumor blog.
Does anyone know which phone will be released first between the HTC Incredible, and the Nexus One...Verizon is horrible with release dates..

Have been reading since the stone age on this thread it seems. Thought I would add something interesting.
I am in Nashville, and I had to go by a Verizon Corporate Training/Tech Support Center here in Franklin, TN this morning for RIMM training (blackberry's). When I got past the security entrance and into the building I saw a big display similar to how the phones are laid out in a Verizon store. They had all there phones on one wall and the droid on it's own little podium. This was at 9:00 am central.. I looked at all the phones and they were all ones that had been released already..
When I got out of training at 11:00 AM CST I walked by that same display on the way out.
Every single one of those phones on display had been removed except for one. It was like someone just cleaned house.. Maybe they are going to fill up those spaces with a shitload of new phones today.. We can only hope.
Not much juice, but I thought I would let you know. I would have asked someone, but all I had was the RIMM guys and a security guard.
The RIMM guy had a new Blackberry Tour with a optical trackpad if anyone cares.. And he says he didn't know of any new phones besides that the new Tour 2..
Peace
What rock you been under? j/k

Breaking News
We're here at Verizon Wireless' LTE forum at CTIA 2010, and a higher-up speaking about application development just let a sweet little nugget of information slip: the long-awaited V Cast Apps market will launch on March 29th. If you'll recall, we've been hearing about this portal ever since last summer, but we're guessing that a bona fide launch was put on pause in order to tweak things for Verizon's eventual LTE release (a bit we'll touch on here later). Initially, the BlackBerry Storm (and Storm2, presumably) will be supported, with other RIM devices coming onboard shortly thereafter. The rollout will continue over the coming weeks and months, hopefully to a few other mobile operating systems.![]()
Responding to a few questions, Verizon insists that its own storefront won't take away from "other markets," namely the Android Marketplace. Instead, they're "perpetuating the ecosystem," with the app store simply being a vessel of distribution. In other words, app devs are stoked that their software could be found in multiple stores.

I'm in Nashville too. Do you work for Verizon or what? The Franklin store is where my brother and I go to get our phones. I live downtown, Nashville.
