Help Moving Pictures to MicroSD Card

Zoblots

Lurker
Hi - I just bought a Sandisk 32GB Class 10 microSD card and I installed it on the phone. The phone recognizes it and I set the camera to start storing items to the external card. However, I am unable to determine how to move the current pictures and videos from the internal storage to the external SD card. Does anybody have a good method of doing this?

Thanks!

you can always plug up your phone and use it as mass storage. Then copy and drag files from one folder to the other.

Samsung is nice enough to include a file manager with their software. Locate your picture folder and simply hold down for a second, select move, and select a location on your external SD card.

"Only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask"...:o How or where do you find the picture folder so you know... 1.) "Where" it is... 2.) "If" it needs to be moved????

And exactly how do you move the folder? I get the "move" but then what? Just "move" again? or copy? It's not showing up where I think I'm putting it???

After you select Move, you need to use the file manager to select the destination folder. Once you do that, you press "Done" at the top right corner of the screen -- and the file is moved or copied there, whichever you selected.
