Help Camera (PTP) Transfer is not letting me preview the picture files

When connecting by USB for the Camera (PTP) transfer I'm unable to see a preview of the pictures that I am trying to transfer without manually opening each one or right clicking and choosing preview. Is there any way to set it to view all of the picture images so I can choose which ones I want to transfer without manually opening them all?

I'm having this exact same problem. I can take pictures, upload them to fbook etc, but when I hook up the phone to USB on my PC using MTP, then navigate mycomputer>SPH-L710>card>DCIM>Camera the jpg icons show up, no actual pic thumbnail. I want to be able to select individual or multiple pics to clik-drag to my PC for later uploading or editing. Then, when I select them, Microsoft Photo Editor has a popup saying 'error reading file'. If I take the microsd card out and insert directly to the PC, it works just fine, and I see the thumbnails and can open, view, edit no problem. Is this a Samsung software thing??
