Newely rooted android Lg Esteem (metro pcs)

Hi brand new to the site and wanted to know which roms were most compatible with the rooted lg esteem running rooted zvd. Looking for something thats quick and has taken the bloatware off the phone. I would like to upgrade to the latest OS as well. I currently run gingerbread. Haven't done this kinda stuff since owning the blackberry. I'm a nubie to android, but tech savvy. Thanks in advance for the help ROM developers.
