Help I9300 update in the US...

Finally got an update alert. Would I be right to assume this is the one that would remove universal search and add the brightness slider. The alert didn't indicate the build number, but it was a 70-something MB download.

I know this is a question for the root forum too, but are the latest builds for the I9300 still rootable??

I haven't gotten an update alert... ?? :-(

I even went to check phone update in the settings and it says my device is up 2 date.

I'm on Verizon though...

You are correct. Didn't do much for me.

The update is for international versions only so far I think.

The i9300 is the international GSM version, so an update for it wouldn't apply to Verizon. Verizon should announce when they're rolling out an update.
