How to get Samsung app Store?

I have had the S3 for AT&T for about a month and I can't figure out how to download the Samsung application store. This is what I'm talking about: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.samsungapps&hl=en

I was on the phone with samsung for about an hour and they still didn't know they problem, hopefully one of you do, thanks.

Yeah it is interesting. It took me awhile but finally I just downloaded it from my phone. You can go to the normal desktop site from your phone and just download it that way. It's decent.

It's about as worthless as the amazon app store.

I agree. I downloaded it, looked around for awhile & was thinking to myself, why do they need this? You Samsung Apps people tell me what I'm missing here? What does it offer that I can't get on Google Play?

Samsung apps came preloaded on my Rogers S3. The only thing I download that is not in Play store is Samsung Photo Editor and Application monitor widget that lets me kill apps and clear ram .

Or you can just hold down the home button and kill background and RAM there. No need for either one of those. It's built into my phone already, at least it is on the US (Verizon) version.

I've not noticed one for the s3 but you could use Samsung apps to update the camera firmware for the s2. They might do the same for the s3 when updates before available.

I had it already installed on my s3. I didn't see the point of it until I found out that you can get some things from there for free that you would have to pay for in the Play store. I got Real Racing 2 and Need For Speed Shift both for free from the Samsung store. I think Need For Speed Shift was free for a limited time but you can find things for free that you would normally have to pay for on the Play store. Have a browse through the categories section and see what takes your fancy.

Hope this helps.

I like to be aware of how many apps are currently open.
