Hi, I have a Galaxy S rooted and on a MIUI gingerbread rom with Glitch 13.1 kernel. Phone works perfectly on this rom. Now my problem is I want to install ICS roms, in which I have successfully. Ever ysingle 1 of them run smooth except when a call comes in. It freezes up the phone, weirdly enough if you have a set of headphones plugged in it does not freeze. The MIUI rom with glitch kernel do not have these issues. My question is could there be something in the kernel or the rom that could be transfered into an ICS rom??

When you flash other ics roms, do you carry out a full wipe (and I mean full wipe) > in recovery format system, cache, data, datadata..
Or your last option is use a third party app to use phone..if problem persists then you need another phone.. lol
Go to specific miui forums/website ask your question there..users of miui will give you further help..
Hi. Yes have done full wipes every time. I got a cm7 rom to sorta work with the same Glitch 13.1 kernel. Its sorta freezes when trying to hang up now but can at least answer. Everything else works perfect on all roms except answering phones. Trried Glitch 13.1 with some ics roms but have been told it only works with gingerbread roms. I guess i will keep flashing on, kinda fun testing everything anyways.
