Help Removing Apps and Widgets

I'm new to my RAZR MAXX so please bear with me. I'll try to ask my question in a way that is understandable.

My current handheld operating system is 4.0.4. System version is 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US.

I've added a calendar program, Jorte, and after trying several calendars, have settled on aCalendar (at least for now). Since I didn't want Jorte, I went into Manage Apps, and uninstalled it. But when I go to Apps, Widgets, there are still four pages of widgets for all different kinds of sizes for Jorte. Is there any way to get rid of these? I really don't like the fact that apps can't be hidden anymore. Stuff like this just overloads the screens when going into Apps.

Hope this question is clear. Thanks.

not sure why the widgets are still visible if you uninstalled the app. hopefully someone else can present an answer for that.

you are right that you can no longer hide apps, but that is because you can now completely disable them (which is freaking awesome). any app that you don't want visible, got into your app management screen, uninstall updates if necessary, then disable the app. this is the next best thing to being able to actually uninstall all the bloat from Big Red.

Thanks. Still wish we could hide apps though. It would make the apps and widgets screens so much easier to manage. I do like being able to uninstall the bloatware.
