AT&T S3: Driving Mode

Hey guys,

For all you AT&T S3 users out there, do you have the Driving Mode in the pull-down notification bar?

I have the following in the bar:
Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Sound, Screen rotation, Mobile Data, Power Saving, Airplane mode, and Sync in that order.

My friend on Verizon says he has Driving Mode... am I missing something?
 
This seems strange given what others have posted, but I'm on AT&T and I *do* have the driving mode toggle on the notification screen.

I wonder if you have a special feature on the your plan that we don't. ??? I'm on ATT, and like most of the others on ATT here, I don't have the driving mode, either.
 
I have a AT&T phone and do indeed have "Driving Mode"

Go to system settings, personal, language and input, text to speech output, and there it is.....

Not that I know of. Garden variety plan. All I can think of is that my phone is rooted (but otherwise stock), and the recent OTA update wasn't applied.

From the post above, it looks like everyone has the driving mode option, but not the toggle on the notification screen.

I find it a bit strange that some have the toggle and some don't have it on the drop down screen. To my understanding all the S3's have the same specs regardless of what carrier you bought it on.

I can activate it using S-voice, but again no toggle. Wonder if there's something in the options menu that will allow you to choose which toggles are on the drop menu?:confused:
 
as most of the ATT users have said, my Driving Mode can only be found if I go into settings and language&input. Quite a hassle to activate it if you're driving and want it instantly. Luckily, I downloaded a widget for it and it works nicely!
 
Driving Mode is listed in my drop down. USCC Cellular.

Does anyone have a 3G/4G button in the drop down menu?
 
Is their a setting on this phone that will automatically text someone back when I'm driving that will let them know that I will write back when I stop? I thought this was driving mode but I'm not interested in a voice reading my texts or calls to me. I just want an automated response. Possible?
