One of my favorite features of ICS was the ability for google voice to show up in missed call log so you could just hit play from there. I am assuming that this will not work in Touchwiz overlay?

Anyone figure how to get this to work?

Yes, I got it to work yesterday (I have almost the same thread posted downstream). Go to voice.google.com, sign into your account, click on settings, then voicemail, then click "activate Google voicemail on this phone" (you have to have voice installed on your phone to start). Google will give you a number to dial to set up call forwarding. After dialing that, it worked for me, even though it appears that the carrier is still handling voicemail.

Also, there are apparently problems with this on Sprint phones.
 
I have voice working fine. What I am trying to get to work is the setting in voice that says show voice mail in missed call log.

So that when you bring up your missed call you have option to play voice mail from the call log.

This works in blur and aosp. Just wondering if anyone got it to work in touchwiz.
 
I have a huge problem with GV (Google Voice ) on Sprint with the s3. I have used on the galaxy S for a year w/ no problems. On the s3 GV took over placing all calls with no menu option to choose how FBI handles calls. GV handles all mms/sms msg.

I can not find any posts and calls to Sprint has no resolution. Anyone have similar or fix?

I am not sure if this answers you question. I put the GV widget and my home screen. The widget names itself "Toggle Google" with a phone symbol. If I tap it, it cycles through the options such as first tap, make all calls using GV. Second tap make international calls with GV only, third ask each time I make a call..... and so on.
