Root [International] Vibrate notification not working since cm9 install

hey all,

just rooted my s3 and put cm9 on it for the first time (very new to this) and it seems to have stopped vibrating with text messages. It vibrates when i receive calls and with key presses etc

is there just a setting I'm missing?

anyone else experience this or have a fix.

There should be an option in Settings > Sound that can turn on notification vibrations (I can't remember exactly what it's called in CM9)

It vibrates... with key presses

The setting for that is Settings > Sound > Haptic Feedback

Figured it out, it was a setting that i accessed from within the actual messaging app that did it.

wonder why it was set to not vibrate by default.
