Root [Sprint/Cricket] Turn off Automatic Software Update

Hi everybody. I got my Sprint SGSIII a couple of weeks ago and am really loving it. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna root it, but not 100%. Still I want to keep my options open. So, my phone has automatically downloaded the latest update and keeps asking me to accept it(from rooting my OGEvo I know that accepting is not a good idea, unless something is significantly different between HTC and Samsung?) So, how do I get my phone to quit bugging me about it?

Thanks for the help.

You can't with this one.

Samsung made it persistent with 5 minute intervals. I don't think it'll break anything, but you can always look first.

If the option to disable the software update app is in applications manager disable it that way. If not freeze it with titanium or similar.

and...which app do i freeze. can't tell which one. there is one that says "system update" im assuming that is the one?
