Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Haha, the comment on that story:
"untill they produce an image with horizon shots all is photo shopped just like the moon landing, fake fake fake, the reason they believed the moon fiasco was that nobody had more money to go and verify the splash downs, plus they only need drop the capsule from an out of sight height which only the military at the time could afford to do. wake up already. and that photo of the earth from the moon is such horrific bs, given the size of the planet and distance to the moon, a photo from the moon to the earth would be like standing in front of a building trying to see the other side of it....hello."

Guess ignorance is bliss :)

Where's my tinfoil hat.

Why tinfoil? Copper is more conductive and resilient :p

I know, that whay they build those funky cages out of that block all communication, but a conspiracy theorist would let science get in the way of a good story, hence tin foil hat.:)

*reaches for tinfoil....* :D

EDIT: BTW Dread, CNA wrote his own custom kernel for this ROM. Pretty stable IMO but I'm trying out franco 241 for battery life to see how they compare...

I did not know that! The kernel that CNA comes with is nice. Definitely better than LeanKernel IMO (which for ICS, Lean was by far the best on my phone). Let me know what you think of Franco's. Had bad experience with his in the past.

Didn't see your post yet, Chief. Are you sure b/c when I loaded up Franco's app it listed one of his as my "current" kernel? I can't reproduce this as I flashed a Lean kernel to test out.

I've been through two GNex's with these same issues...

1. it's picky about the chargers. Some chargers will charge it while others won't and the ones that won't charge it definitely work because they will charge other phones. It's very frustrating and I can't find a car charger that works!

2. weak 4G/3G reception. Other phones on VZW's network have at least double the signal strength when the phones are sitting directly next to each other. (not as annoying as the finicky charger thing but annoying none the less)

Just wondering if these are common occurrences or if I should be making a bigger fuss with VZW.

I'm currently running CM9 but this was happening on stock ROMS and other custom roms as well.

Thanks for your input.

Just verified. I flashed CNA 3.2 last night and I'm running kernel 3.0.39-CNA100-06700- ......

Haven't flashed anything other than the ROM.

Doh! Knew it was easy, but couldn't figure it out. :hmmmm2:
We have a few more options for threads and was wondering if it was a Guide only thing to see. :o
