Root [International Tegra 3] HTC One X freezing occassional and needing hard reboot

Hi All,

I'm running LeeDroid 6.4 & Faux beta kernel and have been mostly very impressed.

Was also planning on leaving them alone after a few near-brick experiences.

However 3 times in the last week my phone has completely frozen or shut down when not in use. I click on the button to activate screen and nothing happens. Am then having to do a Hardboot reset to get it going again.

I guess it's a trial and error thing and am thinking I'll try Android Revolution HD ROM as reading good things about that.

But before I embark on more ROM or Kernel flashing, are there any logs or any way to tell what caused the phone to freeze? Hard to tell as it happens when it's not in use.

Is updating to ARHD and the kernel that goes with it a worthwhile effort to fix this freeze issue?

Thanks,
Alan

Not undervolting (TBH wouldnt know where to start). Just using the standard Faux, was latest on his thread when I installed it a few weeks ago. And obviously made a few tweeks to Leedroid but nothing too funky.

Will probably give ARHD a go when I have some time to play around it flashing it.

ARHD is defintely worth a go. I'd also recommend Viper.

I am, and it's happened a couple of times on renovate rom, not underclocked by much, but guess it's a trial/error thing.

Yeah, some handsets just don't like undervolting at all unfortunately. :(
