Another "phone dropped in water" please help!

PaKsun

Lurker
Yesterday at the beach, whilst having eyes closed and enjoying the sun, a big wave came up farther than the others had and washed a little on my phone. I immediately took out the battery, went to the store, bought rice, and stuffed it in there. That was about 17 hours ago, I tried it this morning and everything is working EXCEPT the touch screen. And there is a little pop up that says "the android.process.acore has stopped working" I'm not sure what to do

Which make a model phone do you have, also I know you took the battery out, have you also tried a reboot now to see if it persist. ??

Do this: Take the battery out and let it be for a day or two. Hopefully this should dry out the remaining water on the board. If after then the device comes back alive - and if possible, reset the device immediately. This should get rid of all the corruption that has incur.

Welcome aboard. Good luck. :)
