Not getting better with the allergies. WRT potty training, I think it is different from child to child. It was a constant struggle with Evan until one day a light switch went off and all the accidents stopped.

I had all my boys potty trained in 1 week.... girls are another story. Do you have a boy?

It's funny b/c I've always heard it takes longer w/ boys than girls. I guess it really depends on the child & parents.

We actually had a boy in my daughter's kindergarden class get removed from the school b/c he wasn't properly potty trained. They gave the parents 3 warnings & that was that!!

Evan had to be fully potty trained for preschool when he was three.

Yeah, if we were a bit longer into things I'd have done it in a heartbeat this summer for her start of 6th grade. And their schools are leaps above ours. But you're right, slow is just as good.
!

Dang...guess it's been a long time since I had a young 'un, I forgot middle school starts at 10!

My 3yr old Keurig at home is on its last legs. Poor thing gets worked to the bone. I may get a commercial version to replace it. Must have my coffee.:D

Mine is still going strong, despite it's daily workout, after 3 years. But I'm fully prepared to fork over the cash for a commercial one when it bites the dust. It is seriously the best $129 I've ever spent.

I buy all my stuff from Keurig.com. Prices seem reasonable enough and can't knock the super fast free delivery. I've also earned enough points to get 50% off a new machine which we may well utilize this year.

I used to use their website, but they kept being out of my favorites. I did find my very favorite one (Barista Prima Italian Roast) at Wal Mart. Boxes are smaller, but it's also cheaper, and works out to be within a few pennies per k-cup as Keurig.com, and no waiting. I did get enough points on my account to get a 1/2 price machine, too, for my daughter's dorm room, and she and her roommate think I'm the best mom in the world.

That pic has been saved and is headed for Facebook this afternoon too!

^^^THIS. That is SOOOOOOOOOOO something I would say.

It's addicting. No idea why, just is. And it's cheaper than Crack.
Yes, it's very addicting. I actually had to do a Pintervention with my best friend recently. She was starting to try to pin while she's working. And she's a hairstylist, so that doesn't work so well.

So... The key to potty training is waiting until they are ready. They need to be able to understand what is happening and be able to tell you. The understanding of bodily functions takes some children longer than others. With all of my boys I took a week off work and let them run around naked. :hahaha: COMPLETELY NAKED!.:vroam: This gives a child instant cause and effect. I would put the potty chair in the middle of whatever room we were in and by the end of the week, they were back in the bathroom.

That being said hitting the hole with adult boy:s: :stupid:s, we are still working on that !

Good luck !

Chat later. My morning has not been as productive as I thought it was going to be( not my fault, other people, errr. ), so hopefully afternoon will be better. Holllla.
