ITS NOT MY FAULT IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE USING THIS TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.



Here is the clockworkmod for the Repp I have tested it on two Repps so far they work great got all the mount points to work and can install zips from cwm now.They only thing you have to do is hold volume down power and home to get to cwm.
What does this do for my repp?
It lets you backup your whole android everything.
You can restore your backups.
Mount usb sdcard in recovery now.
Install zips from recovery.
Can install a custom rom or stock back without odin.
Can restore boot to. as well as mount the system, data, chache, sdcard, and sd-ext
Can install root without odin and install a another user cwm backup.
Can fix permissions and wipe davlik and battery stats.
Can wipe user data.
Can do more to Its works really good.

How can I install this will it make my odin counter go up?
You have to use the file provided below and flash with odin on windows as admin and select the repp.ops file.Then click one package find the tar file and wait and check to see if there is a yellow box at the top left window.now press start and wait for it to finish and reboot your device .
No it will no make your odin counter go up its not binary.
Yes maybe in the future I might make a bat installer for it to make it easier
when i have the time to do it.

changes in cwm version 0.6
Made a Cwmfixed zip for older cwm to install under recovery.
Fixed the recovery no erasing boot before restore might have caused a brick.
Fixed not booting into recovery or would freeze in recovery.
Fixed issue with odin not responding was in the md5 checking not right sorry was in a hurry.
can now use home to select.
Fixed vibrate issue.
fixed boot logo when going into recovery mode.
added busybox and shell commands for adb under cwm.
fix permissions.
removed unnecessary files in recovery.img.
cleaned up code for better speed.

Thank you, it worked this time. Keep up the good work porting shit to this seemingly obscure phone.
 
I flashed this to my phone last night and it works great. Had a couple tense moments when it didnt like my Zeam Launcher after I made a backup in clockwork mod and force closed it about 5 times but I restarted the phone again and everything seems to work perfect so it may have just been a glitch with my phone. :confused:

So now my big question: Does anybody have a custom ROM recommendation for this phone yet or are they still works in progress? :D

Just backup first with cwm.
 
Anyone have a CWD backup for the Repp R680? I am both newb & noob to the rooting scene and deleted my backup when I factory reset my phone. Any help will be appreciated. I'm gonna spam this message until I get my 10 posts then I'll post a new thread. Sorry mods! My family is without a phone until I fix this!
 
EVERYTIME I TRY TO USE ODIN TO INSTALL CWM OR USE SHABBY KERNEL FROM XDA DEVELOPERS WHEN I PUT PHONE INTO DOWNLOAD MODE PLUG IT IN COM BOX TURNS YELLOW I CLICK START AND AFTER A FEW SECONDS IT HAS AN ERROR CODE 5 SERIAL USB CANNOT BE USED OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT...........COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT'S GOIN ON? I WORK ON COMPUTERS FOR A LIVING I USED DIFFERENT USB PORTS MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHAT'S GOIN ON? Hey SamsungCrasher,
I hope you are still around. I got the clockwork mod recovery installed through Odin with no problems on my new phone but I have discovered that it has an error making the backup about halfway through /system every time. Any ideas? Would it help to flash the CWM version or is that going to make things worse? Thanks for any help you can offer.
 
I followed the directions but mine just won't root/install cwm. This is my first time trying something like this so maybe I did something wrong I dunno. Also, the odin I downloaded only had one file in it and it was called SCHR720.ops. My samsung is a SCHR680 or something.
 
ok so i have rooted may phones in the past however for some reason i continue to get "an unnamed file was not found" any help would be appreciated
