Help Clock not keeping time

Hi al

Using G1 in UK on Virgin network, Android 1.5

Not sure if this a phone problem or Android problem, but 8 times out of ten when I switch my phone on, it shows the wrong time and date.

I have set date and time both manually and switched to 'Automatic' but the phone still doesn't keep time.

I am having to manually set the time and date most times i switch the phone on.

Any ideas?

Yes, I have the same thing in Norway where I'm using Telenor and have selected automatic..

I suspect you're being flippant.

If I uncheck 'automatic' i.e. use network provided values and then set date and time manually, the next time I switch on the phone 8 times out of ten, the date and time will be wrong again.

That must be some kind of error or bug in the OS, surely?
