G3 International Version

Hello all,

I'm currently traveling through Europe and wanted to pick up an international G3 unlocked.

I'm on AT&T in the states and wanted to know if anyone could answer the few questions I have.

1. If I have the international al unlocked versions how do I get the OTA's? Since its not carrier specific?

2. Visual voicemail and other services from AT&T; will they all still work?

3. Is this a good idea to do or should I just purchase the AT&T version when I get back home?

Sorry if this is basic stuff but I really don't know these answers so if anyone could guide me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I believe ota's are pushed to IMEI's, not through the carrier so that shouldnt be a problem. I've never had to do it though so I am not sure.

Visual voicemail again should work, but I'm not %100 sure but pretty close.

I would just get the att version since it has 4g. The quadcore is nice, but in a side by side comparison of opening apps and stuff, there isn't really any noticeable difference. I definitely prefer the 4g to the quadcore at least

I thought the international version is LTE as well and thought the bands were the same. Is that not the case?

Don't want to buy the international version and not have it work on AT&T LTE network
