Really Glad I Bought my S3

Hi all,

Watched the new iPhone roll out yesterday. As a noobie, it looked like a pretty nice phone, but I was underwhelmed otherwise. My S3 does everything the iPhone does, for the most part and a fraction of the cost.

Glad I'm staying in the Android ranks, at least for the next two years!:smokingsomb:

In the past two weeks, 4 co-workers and I all dumped our iPhones (ahead of the iPhone 5 announcement) and each bought a Galaxy SIII.

We saw the writing on the wall. Same tired phone with same tired iOS and no improvements that hadn't already been on Android.

A taller screen? Wow. My GS3 is taller and wider.

Loving it!

Yep, I think I made a smart choice. Especially buying it at Costco! Also, love the camera and call quality. Plus, it's blazingly fast compared to my Droid X of two years ago...

I also like the feel of the phone. Like a river stone in my hand is how I'd describe it.

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah a lot of Apple fanboys and others critize the S3's "plastic" and "poor build quality" look. I, for one, think it looks great and the plastic doesn't feel cheap or poor whatsoever. Infact I love the back of the S3.

I'm one of those people that doesn't like the build quality feel of the s3, but its still leaps and bounds above the iPhone 5 as a phone
