That place always bothered me.......a town shouldn't have the same name as a different state. Is the college still a dry campus?

They are not on hand in stores, they are on order... and floating around hopefully in a big warehouse.
From my previous retail experience, as a simple cust service rep, I had no access to what was on order, only stock in the store. So hopefully this would explain the lack of any information from low level employees at the vzw stores

On order probably just means the number ordered from the Manufacturer. It's like 150k iPads being ordered. Just because they are ordered doesn't mean they are ready to be shipped. It's so the manufacturer knows you have until this date to test and approve and have xxxxx number of devices ready to ship.

Incredibly the rules are the same.
Was talking to a tech at the local vwz store last week and he knows about the incredible (he told me). He verified that the inventory pictures are definitely vwz's.

He's probable following here.
 
You guys know, we've been talking about this for an incredibly long time now ... If the phone does not come soon, wouldn't it be interesting to start picketing some of the larger market stores? :p

Was thinking it would be a good way to do two things: Let VZW know we are waiting for something, anything, especially a phone. Could also grab some TV news or local paper press too, which could actually help the success of the phone itself once it's released.

Just an off-the-wall thought, really :)

Ahh ... gotcha ... well I know I work in IT, figure a lot of us do ... and it is close to being a homonym for tea party.

Maybe we could call it a V Party?

Anyhow, just wish they would say something or release the phone this week. This waiting is not easy.
