Search function.

Does the Galaxy S3 have a search function like the Iphone?

When i press my home button on iphone, a search box appears and what ever word i enter the phone searches through contacts, music,email,text messages etc pairing the word up when found.

Is this available on the S3?

Cool thanks mate. I dont have the Galaxy yet. On the iphone i stuck with the standard safari browser, what i liked about that ,was at the top right of the browser it had a google search function, it saved going to googles home page from what ever site i was on to do a search, does the standard browser on the S3 have this option ? Its not a huge deal, but as said it just saves a bit of time.

Yes.
The nice thing about Android is that you can customize it heavily...so if there is something you don't like or that you want to add...you can find it.
