Does S3 have a quick turn on?

I had a HTC Inc. and it had a quick turn on feature.
I love my S3 but when I turn it on in the morning after charging it seems like I am holding down the power button for a long time before I get the vibe indicator that it is about to turn on.
Any ideas?

doesn't require turning off the phone does it? Can't remember the last time i ever turned a phone off unless it was out of battery, in last 10 years. never seen any adverse effects of this.

I know the Droid x added a sleep mode with one update. So it would of been a "quick on" in one sense.

I just use Airplane mode if I don't want any calls or messages. Turning your phone off to charge it doesn't really give you any benefit to leaving it on while charging other than perhaps it charging a little bit faster.

I had a Droid Incredible and there was an issue with it where you had to turn it off to get a full charge. The S3 doesn't appear to have that same problem, so I don't usually turn out off either.

To answer your question though, no the phone doesn't have the 'Quick Boot' feature that your Inc. had.
