any way to go back to previous firmware??

since updating to 4.0.4 on the i9300T there are things that have become really annoying and i would like to revert back to the previous update, is thedre a way to do this?

i can no longer just hold and drag/resize icons and widgets i have to go into a seperate menu to do so.
i also cant change the bottom 5 icons at all.
seems small but when your trying to move multiple things around its really frustrating

What do you find annoying?

:D

I've seen the dockbar complaint before...didn't know it was an OTA.

The only way I can think of is to root and flash a stock version you like. Henceforth, being rooted will enable you to make NANDroid backups which will enable you to revert if something undesirable occurs.

I always try to ;)

Me too. I don't use touchwiz so I am by no means an authority, but I *think* the + (add method) was replaced with drag and drop.

I was hoping I could convince the OP not to go backwards in firmware, but as both the issues are touchwiz, I can't really :(

Yes I like the touchwiz framework. Its just "TW home" I don't like.

I used to love aosp but thats so basic compared to the s3's tw rom
