This is Google Android 4.0 TV Box 1.4GHz from here:
Google Android 4.0 TV Box 1.4GHz Wireless Mouse HDTV WiFi Full HD 1080P HDMI | eBay
I updated the firmware from here - http://androidforums.com/google-tv/607020-help-refee-m6-1gb-ddr-android-4-a.html#post4949520
and now I can't rollback with an updates dated with date less than the last one - the older updates now stops with error:
"assert failed: .!less_int(xxxxxxxx. getprop(" ro.build.date.utc"))"... error status 7.

Video playback was and continue after update to be with small interruptions every few seconds and the RAW output of audio is working with delay of a second which is very irritating.

If somebody knows the guide please kindly advise how to rollback with the older firmware updates or if somebody knows how to fix these video play issues.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Things you need: 7zip file manager and Notepad++ and signapk utility (google for it, in their description is usually resigning APK, but works for update.zip-s).

Open update.zip with 7zip, go to META-INF folder and delete CERT.RSA, CERT.SF and MANIFEST.MF files.

After that go to META-INF/com/google/android folder inside zip archive and extract somewhere (desktop?) updater-script file.

Now, open that updater-script file with Notepad++ and remove line that looks similar to this:
Code:
assert(!less_than_int(1346804728, getprop("ro.build.date.utc")));
Save changes and replace that file in your archive.
After that, with signapk utility resign your update.zip and flash.
