HOX dock

Can anyone recommend a good dock for the HOX preferbly with speakers, are there any more apart from the official HTC one which is a bit expensive.

Or is the HTC one worth the extra dosh?

I think the official one looks crap. There's a thread below this one with some ideas i've posted to the same question.

i have the oem dock for the int'l one x and i am pretty happy with it. it has quirks, but so does the one x itself. there's a whole thread over at xda about various reactions. it won't float everyone's boat. it's fine for me: i use it to serve as a charger and also turn my hox into a bedside clock overnight. the speakers are not bad at all, imo. was it worth $70 (others have found it for much less, but for awhile it was hard to get)? i'm okay with it, but only because it is fulfilling the functions for which i purchased it. anyone with different expectations will find it too pricey.

Nice bit of kit actually, decided to go for cheap and cheerful as it'll mainly be used for watching videos and stuff and somewhere to plonk it on a night at the side of the bed. Just one thing, do i have to manually put it in car dock mode?

I'd presume so. That's part of what the pins do I believe, put it in dock mode when connected to the dock.

I bought one of these little beasties Desktop Charge Cradle with HDMI Out for HTC One X though it doesn't have speakers on nor does it sync with a pc but for me it was the hdmi which sold it
