Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Senseless

You think there's any way to use a wii remote for this ROM?

Other than that this ROM is flawless, except for the fact that kernel tuner won't stick my updates when I reboot >< its just annoying redoing the settings, but awesome ROM.

Hm...not sure. I haven't tested that. I can try though



Have you been actually applying and saving the settings after setting them?
 
New version on it's way, with TONS of theme and sound changes.

Loving this rom, have the same issue with kernel tuner too though. Mostly wish it would restore the sweep2wake setting but not a huge deal. I did make sure to apply and tried both options under restore settings. Even tried going back to the previous version as I thought it worked before.

First, let me say that I love the ROM and my battery life is much improved but I am also having problems with Kernel Tuner not working on reboot. Other than that, the ROM is fantastic.
 
I've confirmed that the kernel tuner isn't keeping settings, even for the new version of the tuner that was just released.

ok I got the ime but the HID enabler won't install. I keep hitting the install button but it is not "pressable"
 
For anyone who used the sense version, do you think the new theme changes would look on that as well, or should I just stick to keeping it in this one?

Oh, and if anyone still had issues with kernel tuner after updating, make sure you apply your settings, then on the main page hit the wrench at the top and choose this option

Hey dark, have you tried the Mac kernal off xda? I used anthrax for a long time but now this kernal is sweet and for the first time I can oc to 1.9 and be stable/smooth!
 
Lol the only thing I wish the status bar looked more like stock ICS one and on mobstersROM. Even the battery(with %), wifi, 3G, ect. Like them better.

Edit: wait could I just flash his systemui and framework and everything would work? What if I flashed his AOSP settings too? I know you may say why not use his ROM instead but ever since he updated it to have sense stuff in it, I no longer like it.
 
It may just be me and I know it's minor, but I have been using Handcent SMS as my default app for years. Not a fan of the stock and this had everything I wanted.
After doing a complete wipe and installing this ROM (currently 1.0.3) I have Installed it numerous times, but it refuses to open. It will open black screen and then close out without warning or error message.
Does this have something to do with the requirements of the app itself? Because any other messing apps I've tried seem to work and I'm just not satisfied so far with any of them. Thanks

TLDR : HandcentSMS doesn't work.

Great ROM! Only had to uninstall a few system apps that I don't use as opposed to other ROM's where it's about a dozen that I usually uninstall!
 
Hey this rom is great. I love how most the Sense stuff is gone. Runs alot better this way. One thing that would make this perfect is if the Dialer was AOSP and not Sense. Is there any way to accomplish that?

ok I found a way to get the AOSP dialer and contacts. Just not the call screen. if anyone has a tip on that, that would be AWESOME.

I have included the zip to flash from recovery and also the link to where I got it from.

After you flash it do a cache and dalv wipe then boot up and go into your apps and you will see 2 people and 2 phone's. I am sure you can find out what ones are aosp and what ones are Sense.

is there anyway too change the boot animation??? i like this one but i've been on midnight for quite a while and im getting tired of it... and i just checked out agrabren's cm10 boot animation and that made me go nuts... any way i can get it on this???
