How long did your Maxx Hd battery last?

Dee1981

17 Hours 2 min and I had 4% left. All I can say is WOW! Downloaded 700MB over 4G made alot of phone calls thru out the day, Also Used wifi and browsed the net alot . Alot of texting some nextflix . I unplugged it last night at about 830pm after it was fully charged. Lots of FB also. Post up times guys. Curious whether this S4 chip really makes a difference .

So far no complaints love this phone

It had been great so far.

Strangely inconsistent. First day I put it through extremely heavy use, went from 72 to 20 after 12 hours.

Today I put it through heavy use but far from extreme. Went from 100 to 40 after 10.5 hours. Disregard the time in the second pic, it's wrong. Not sure why.

Yesterday's use and today's use.

Here is mine. Screen was on just over 3 hours in this shot. Battery life has been amazing and I feel it will get better after it stops updating apps. Also the reception is much better than the nexus I had. It's almost too good as I don't want to blow through tons of data not having unlimited.

I am at 14 hours 45 minutes and 7% left, but I have not let this thing idle at all today. I have a screen on time of 6 hours 38 minutes and used the GPS for a full hour. I also did several reboots throughout the day (going back to my blackberry days where a reboot would cause the battery to show an immediate 5 - 10% drop). Also several text messages.

I never saw 6 hours of screen on time with my original Maxx. I'm almost questioning if I could have gotten away with the non Maxx HD. I really wanted a white phone...and it seems that with the efficiencies of the new chip perhaps the smaller battery in the Razr HD is about equivalent to the old (larger) battery in the Maxx.

I'm still waiting for mine to die...from the screenshot I posted above, I'm still on that charge and now at 39.5hrs and 31% still remaining. This is simply amazing.

Question for you guys, how often are you guys using Wi-Fi? I'm averaging about 15 hour life on pure 4G, it seems like you guys are doing a lot better than me.

Out of my 40+hrs I have been at work for 24 of those.... Plus driving time to and from home, I'd say about 26hrs on lte and about 14 on wifi

Yesterday I turned off wifi and running nothing but 4g and just general moderate use I've made it 23 hours on the battery tom I'm back at work so we shall see but so far I'm loving this battery life!

Wow that's incredible. I'm starting to feel maybe my battery stats are wrong or my phone could be defective. I'm not getting nearly as much battery life as you guys. 12.5 hours of lte With 4 of screen time and I'm down to 27 percent today.

I'm at 38%, started the day fully charged and really didn't use it that much. Maybe a couple hours tops, all on 4G though. 50% brightness. Oh and I have the non-Maxx.

The best way I can sum it up is just browsing the web on 4G, no videos, takes down about 2% for 5 minutes.

Does that sound defective?

Well Moto said about 6 hours of constant web browsing, so thats a bit off. Probably could be fixed through screen brightness though, so that might be right on the mark. I managed 11 hours of normal usage with 55% left today so I guess it's not really that off. I did however clean my battery stats, so maybe that either fixed the readings, or made them even more off.

I have been noticing that at every reboot, my percentage drops by about 5%, and I've done manual reboots a lot during the day. Maybe thats why my reading came out so low. Did 4 today, so maybe I only really used 30-35% of battery for 11 hours today. That sounds pretty damn fine to me now that I think about it.

Flipping back and forth between 4g and wifi at work, watching videos playing games and starting off the day with tunes on the radio via aux cable.....very pleased with my battery life thus far...

INSANE!!!
I would just like to point out...that, at the same rate of depletion of the battery, this user will get 5 DAYS of life from a single charge. Jeebus:smokingsomb:

Saturday morning, I decided to see how long the Maxx HD would last. Sunday night when I went to bed, ~38 hrs later, it was at 4%.

MAXX, took about 14 hours to reach 4%, with all services on, screen at auto, using it most of the day pretty heavily. Staying indoors in an area with weak 4g might have something to do with the quick drain. A little gaming (pvz, nothing taxing) but mostly the screen drains (52%). I thought I should leave bluetooth off but it only took 3% and 3% isn't worth turning it on when I get in the car. I guess I should be happy but my coworker got 36 hours and still at 30% but he doesn't use his phone as heavily as I do.

also 2% each Android OS, Maps

no use during the day except for a little wifi internet browsing at work; no cell service where I work (unless you have att). just letting the battery run down.

Still at 70% after 21.5 hours. I have a couple different Smart Actions set up to conserve battery. Phone usage has been light to moderate. Typically on wifi (reception isn't great here).

I'm not going to recharge it until it is close to discharged...it'll be interesting to see how much life I can pull out of this battery.

I have to say - coming from a Galaxy S3, the difference is amazing. On the S3, the battery would have been at <5% hours ago.
