Charging Dock, what are you using?

I'm in the market for a dock. I'd like to know what you what you think about what you are using.

Here's my situation, it will be bedside, on a nightstand. Currently, I have a couple things that I plug in every night, my phone and my tablet. By the time I've made it across with these things in hand I already have the lights off. On the floor is a tangle of wires to charge my various gadgets.

Anyhow, I don't use a case for my phone. I would prefer a dock that doesn't have much slop in it to accommodate a case. I would like to be able to just drop in the phone and have it connect every time with 0 hassle. It would be nice if it were white. It would be easier to spot in the glow of the alarm clock. I don't need any extra bells and whistles like audio line out or HDMI, although having it won't affect me.

I've shopped a bit online, but haven't found anything that jumps ahead of the rest. Now I'll ask you guys!

Thanks!

ETA: I'm not interested in the inductive charging cases because I don't want to make the phone any thicker.

I have two of the official chargers. One at home, one at work. It's nice that it puts the phone into dock mode. It's not a snug fit. It wobbles. It's tricky to connect, especially in dark.

It does appear to be sized/designed as a universal fit, by which I mean I think future Samsung phones will also fit the case. So unlike when I upgraded from S2 to S3, I think next time I won't need new docks. I think.

I don't use a dock. I just flip it face down because the notification LED bothers my wife. I did make a stand out of a business card.

I've got a KIDIGI DELUXE DUAL phone & battery charger.

It also will sync/w a desktop & has an audio out jack.

The only thing that it will not do is charge an extended battery, but, it will simultaneously charge a spare OEM-sized battery & charge/sync the phone,& surprisingly, the phone fits in the dock w/the MUGEN 4600 extended battery & accompanying cover.

I use the Zenis dock, it says for the Galaxy S2 but it works fine for the S3, the little rubber insert helps if you don't use a case, works with the two cases I have without the insert. It also comes in Black or White. The link above is just the first one I saw, there may be cheaper ones, but they usually do not include the charger. I had pretty much the same need as you, the only thing about this that bothers me a little, is the green 'done charging' notification light is very bright. Hope this helps.

i too use the official Samsung dock.

but i have a bumper around my phone, which makes it fit a little better rather than loose.

and also, i have an extended battery, that adds thickness, and it still fits in the dock.
