Great news for EE customers of the samsung s3

Just read that customers who have a iphone4s samsung s3 and htc onex can swap their phones for a new one 4g ready phone

This is from their site:

Want 4GEE? But just got a new Apple iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy SIII or HTC 1X that's not 4G ready on a plan from either Orange or T-Mobile? No problem. We'll be able to swap you to a 4G version of your phone, and move you to a superfast 4GEE phone plan. All for just

Crafty I agree with you they are expensive, and all i want is the 2gb ram.

I checked my usage today and i have not even reached 500mb for the month.

Balls to their 4G service I just want them to give me the Jelly Bean update! Anyway isn't it only available in like 5 cities at the minute?

RAM wont make it smoother. RAM caches most used system files, apps etc so its not opening them from scratch every time. But 1GB is easily enough for that not to be an issue.

Smoothness is down to software and CPU. Jellybean is very smooth on the S3.

I'm not sure of RAM usage on the LTE. I did read that it was to compensate for LTE usage being memory happy, but I am unable to prove this for myself not having access to one.

All more RAM will do is ensure a few more apps that you don't use as regularly open faster as they're in memory. It will increase benchmark results too probably but will have no noticeable improvement on real world smoothness and performance.

If this is your reason, i'd recommend against spending

I don't know how you guys with 1Gb RAM can get by. For me, with 3 emails, tweeter, facebook, and all other miscellaneous, I'm almost using 900Mb of ram already, and that's just idle. You actually don't get 2Gb of space, more like 1.8Gb of actual free space of RAM. So I'm already half gone with my ram when not doing anything. Just saying. :D
I do use LTE, and it's hella fast!

This is a farce.

Increase your mobile data speed but triple your monthly bill?

Erm, what sane person would sign up to that?

I am just fed up with my RAm usage always being high.

RAM usage is supposed to be high. RAM is there to be used. Unused RAM is wasted RAM. You don't need free RAM for greater performance. You need USED RAM for greater performance.

Have a look at the RAM link in my forum signature :)

.....I'm almost using 900Mb of ram already

Please don't take this as an insult, it is not meant to be but perhaps you don't know how we get by because you don't fully understand RAM?

Link in my Signature is a good read.
