That would not surprise me in the least. We have black otterboxes (Commuter) on our Incredibles and she always asks me if she can get something more feminine.

At this point it really doesn't bother me she wants one. Just I need to learn a new OS because she wont and Ill need to be able to support/fix it when she fiddles with it. The latter part bugs.

I feel your pain. I'm the resident repairman when stuff goes bad. Like I don't get enough of that at work. Unlike your wife though, my hubby accepts whatever I shove in his hand an professes to have NO preference between iOS and Android (**sigh**) even when prompted multiple times to decide. So, since we share calendars, he goes where I go. I can accept that.

Samsung already confirmed there is going to be an update before the end of the year for the Samsung Galaxy S3.

I don't think I can wait that long, and I just don't want to root just to get JB. I'll probably go with the Note 2. So far the Note 2 has everything I wish my phone to be (except for the size maybe). Hopefully I'll have enough time tomorrow to check it out after work.

It was suggested by a previous poster I take a look at the Note 2. The functionality is fantastic. However the size is off putting. I got to see dimensions and its going to be to big for me to "lug" around. I am a phone in pocket guy; not a belt holster guy.

For Q4: Apps (i.e. Widget Locker) can let you fully customise your lock screen; caveat emptor: some widgets require root access to place on lock screen.

On my Incredible, Google is the primary app and pushes my email to my phone where Yahoo and Hotmail can only go out at a specified interval and get email

Use the hotmail app, it works well. I'd recommend using that app if that's the only non-gmail account you use. Like for people who use only hotmail and gmail. Don't use the standard email app.

If you have multiple accounts (work, hotmail, yahoo, etc) use the standard email application so that everything is in one place. Hotmail should be able to do push notifications through the standard email app. If it doesn't work, something was setup wrong when you added the account. (you need it do to "Activesync" not "POP" or "IMAP")

No, not really. The thread has taken on a life of its own. I am just waiting to see what Black Friday might bring from Big Red. If I can save a few buck by waiting a month, I will. I never said it was easy!

Been reading the thread on coolest features and all of the other things I might even want to expand using my phone for. So when I get it I will have a list of things to do. Tonight I am seeing if my Sony TV has DNLA
