get a different launcher. Nova launcher is one of my favorites but you should try a couple different ones and find the one you like best.

That wouldn't help except with the launcher menu, I believe he's talking about the system menu. And the answer (As far as I know) is no, you can't, not without a custom rom.

yeap system menu is what i'm talking about and bummer. guess brightness turned down at night is how i'll work with it in the dark.

Even with the brightness turned down it seems to be brighter than v6. And I complained a lot about v6 being too bright. I keep my phone at 0% brightness, unless I am using it outside and it is sunny
