well incredible has the sense ui

I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and get whichever phone comes out first. What's the difference between the N1 and Incredible, I mean really. You've got the same processor, the N1 is sexy and feels good in the hand, has been out longer so i'll be able to root it(pretty easy to root from what I've seen), have the latest android updates and whatnot. I mean so what, 5mp to 8mp, that's what digital cameras are for. And as far as the sense UI vs android, it doesnt matter if you have it rooted. With all the ROMs that will be out I'll be able to have sense if I want it. My friend has sense on their droid right now.

As I stated in my first post, my wife cleans our local verizon store. Tonight I went with her again and posted up on their calendar board was a calendar for April with important dates. I have attached three pictures. In one you will see the weekly list of things to come. In the other you will you see the samsung phone coming out on the 21st. But the interesting picture is the one that says "new android handset" to be released on the 28th. I hope the incredible comes before that so lets hope this is the nexus one or someting else. I don't know if I can wait that long.

Some are saying worldphone, some are saying Skype mobile. some are saying Flash 10.1, some are saying sold in Verizon stored. Whatever it is, I doubt it will ever be able to get me to cheat on the Incredible! ;):cool::rolleyes:

:eek: I'm wondering it it's N1 or Incredible, and why they would name the damn Reality by name and not this "additional Android handset". Ugh, stupid Verizon.

The N1 is a great device, that i originally wanted but has been plagued with issues with 3G, GPS, multitouch, the finish peeling/rubbing off, and the nightmare of trying to get Customer Service.

For me, I trust Verizon with my Incredible. lol :cool: :D

Nexus One is rumored to be able to be serviced in-stores, VZW special according to a REP who confirmed it won't be sold in-stores but will be able to service it in-stores.

Incredible is only better in two main aspect, 8MP vs. 5MP and the 8gb movinand. Both aren't really a big deal, camera a little more than the memory space but yea, thats why you have a digital camera.

Everything else is a toss-up. Android 2.1 stock vs Sense, N1 will get updates quicker, Incredible will get them whenever......RAM is the same pretty much. ROOT, they will turn out the same basically. Snapdragon doesn't overclock that well apparently or no one has really tried yet. N1 has the better form factor but thats opinion. Incredible isn't ugly but its a bit bland, looks like every other HTC device.

The Incredible actually looks EXACTLY like the HTC Legend.........and they all look like the Desire and EVO.

I heard that about the servicing also. But have you seen those pics form the EVO? You would NOT need a digital cam if the same quality comes to the Incredible.

As bad as it seems, it'll still be the highest spec'd phone out at the time if the 28th is the correct date.

Yea i saw it.........not gonna lie, it's great for a phone. But even the best camera phones like the Sony Ericsson and crap still aren't really worth replacing your digital camera for. It's great for like on the spot shots and stuff but like, idk.......some of us have decent to expensive digital cameras. My dad has a nice panasonic ZS3 that shoots HD and all that, cost a good amount and it's pretty good. Of course, i myself don't take many pics but w/e.........it's all personal opinion still so my voice won't really matter that much, it's just my one opinion.

Would have to be one of the two wouldn't it? Doubt it would be the Nexus One as wouldn't they mention it by name and why would they care about a phone they won't have in store. Makes sense for the Inc though as they wouldn't name it since it does not officially exist. Here's hoping:)

Why would they? Because they are still trying to not let much info leak out. Now, why would they care if it were the nexus 1? It's no secret verizon is getting it in the spring, it says it on google's site. Therefore, it's logical to think it's the incredible. :cool:

The date sucks, but in 2 weeks without this pic I would have started to doubt it was coming.
 
My wife is cleaning the store pretty much every day for the next couple of weeks. Actually she cleans two of them that are corporate stores that are 30 min apart from one another. But I promise you all I have showed her all the pictures and given her all the info about the phone in case I am not with her she can identify anything about it in the store. I have her look for me every night. As soon as I now something you all will

Yeh, so an Android phone comes out the day after my birthday, and I'm gonna be really mad if I only get a digital camera. lol :mad::cool:
 
If the 28th is the date and as NKT expects there will be a fairly large marketing campaign surrounding the phone, it would make sense that we hear an announcement about the phone within another 1-1.5 weeks, and then the commercials start. Just thinking about how long the droid commercials were airing prior to release.
