itunes to Android

New Android user. Be easy on me;)
Long term, I'm hoping to not use iTunes at all. Loving Android so far. I've uploaded some music to google play. Yeah. It works, but I prefer to have my music on my device. Personal preference.

I'm trying to get my iTunes music onto my phone and am having a hard time. Anything I purchased through the iTunes store transfers all neat and organized. Album art work is there etc. Yep, it's super easy to drag/drop everything else.

99% of my music is ripped from cd's, and I want it "clean" on my S3! It doesn't transfer as albums, rather as individual files forcing me to make folders etc. Artwork isn't there. Maybe, I just need to find the right place on my mac to pull it from, but i can't find it. Where do I look?

What is the best, "cleanest" way to move my music from iTunes onto my S3. I've got a 32gb card ready to be filled!

Cheers
Jim

On your PC, navigate to the folders where your music is, then just paste them into the phone's SD card (external or internal wherever you want).

Or you could use WinAmp for PC/Mac as a go between iTunes and your phone.

Best way, download the iSyncr app on your phone. it will send you a download link for your computer. Plug it in, a window automatically pops up asking what playlists, songs, etc. you want to sync from iTunes.

And when you have filled it you will have a lot of valuable storage space filled with exactly the same stuff you have already stored in your iTunes on your PC.
As an alternative you can stream everything in your iTunes, complete with artwork, to your phone with Audiogalaxy and save dozens of gigabytes of storage space.
Added advantage: you will only have to maintain one music library, the iTunes one. And won't get confused with what's on your phone and what's in your iTunes.

alright, I'll bite.

So, what happens when I get on an airplane? What happens when I'm riding my motorcycle out in the sticks and there is no service? What happens when I travel outside the country?

I tried saving an album from the google play app. It took forever. It was ridiculous.

I get the storage concept and I think its awesome that all my music can be stored elsewhere. I think it definitely has its pros. I'm just not sure its right for me. Maybe, it is?

+1 on this. iSyncr is the easiest and "cleanest" (for OP) way to sync music to your android. It requires iTunes, but its set it and forget it methods make it my go to sync app for music. I don't even think about it anymore. I add it to my iTunes library and it ends up on my phone automatcally. Love it.
