Root anyone need a tester?

definitely willing to help out. nasstyrome would be down too.
its just risky not having working restore in cwm. though we could always use adb from cwm to restore

I tried to pull /system from my brothers phone but adb wouldn't detect it but still that begs the question, is he willing to root? I don't know.

ive been looking around and its seems like every other new phone but this one has an aokp with cm9 at least so im kinda getting impatient

the root is harmless and just adds files. that bad thing about the root is we lose the stock bootloader.

Hi. I'm k0nane, you might know me as k0nane. I have a piece of advice for you and anyone else listening: can the entitled attitude. There is a limited amount of resources in the community, and many devices lack even root. You should be grateful that Shabbypenguin and others came by at all, not whining about how you don't have fully custom ROMs. It's your kind of attitude that drives developers away. It helps absolutely nothing.

You may be new here. People work for free, giving time and effort to benefit the community, and instead of donations they get "rewarded" with this. I'm not picking on you in particular - you just happened to provide a relevant example.

To all the users who have helped your resident developers, thank you. You are integral and we want you to have credit for helping us help you. But to the ones anywhere who would lash out against devs or complain about not having the latest and greatest, sit the fark down and shut the fark up, or put in the time and effort to learn to do it yourself.

Which is why I will keep his phone virginized until we can find a way to pull stock.

@jfrankki, Use the guide provided by Nasstyrome here: http://androidforums.com/rush-all-things-root/634360-bootlooped-check-here.html

if you have any trouble just let me know and I'll try to help. I've been soft bricked on this device a few times and this always helps. It will bring your phone back to a debloated backup.

just put the system.img on your sd card and hold power and volume down to get into cwm and mount /system and run his cmd commands
