Folks, new user to a Galaxy S3. Only got it 3 days ago. My problem is, when using the internet I will get a pop up box that appears and it reads "unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" it is so annoying as it can appear lots of time while on the internet and several times after I exit the internet. What is it, how do I stop it???

I would suggest you check to see if there is a sofware update for your phone. I have seen this when I first got my phone. I did get a software update for my phone some time ago and I do not recall getting this message since.

Make sure you are on WiFi and that you can do without using your phone for at least several minutes as it will take some time to do a software update. From your home screen, press the <Menu> button, then Settings. Go right down to the bottom and select About device. At the top you should see Software Update. Select it and check for updates.

It will take some time to update and then it will reboot your phone. See if that resolves your issues.

Read on another forum that you need to

go into settings, accounts, locate your google account, turn off Sync Internet

People said that worked for them so good luck.

I Googled the problem and found a lot of answers that I need to go to internet in applications and cellar data which seems to have worked. I have also unticked sync internet as mentioned. It seemsn to be an issue not with the S3 but other handsets too.

Thanks for your help.
