The whole point of me telling you my testing method was for you to run a similar test. The battery life on this phone is known to be shit if you are actually using it. If you can't charge this phone during the day it will die. When mine was stock I could kill the battery in a few hours of use

Just charge it till full the turn on all wireless features,unplug it , turn the screen off then go to bed and check it when u wake up

You took it the wrong way, if you read what I posted. I meant what purpose does re-uploading and posting it. Where no one knows where it came from? Then if there is a issue people will be asking how you got it to work, what you did to fix it. The original link which I assume is this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767559 has 32 pages of something that may be helpful. In turn people would be able to search the said thread for help with a issue. If that isn't the above then the actual link would be helpful.

Did I forget to mention the same rules apply here as does xda? This isn't a kang what ya like world when someone says to pm the original dev before using the work. If this is still using anything from myself I could shut it down as fast as you started this thrown together thing. How ever if I wanted to I would have done it by now. So please go back and read as my post says nothing about kanging anything. More so to link to the work to help with issues that may be from it.

In regards to the battery issues I was having I did another wipe and reinstalled the from and the issue seems to be solved. Something weird must had happened the first time I wiped and installed. Thanks for the help I really like this rom.

Nothing major...I've tried many over the past few months and the only one that I left in was the debug.composition.type=gpu. played around with the rgb565 one which if set to '1' gives you better performance but it looks like 16bit graphics which looks fine except for screen backgrounds. enabling skip.composition messes up video playback and your camera preview

That is a good point with the 4g...If you look at the logcat that 4g widget is updating non-stop and you may be better off turning on your 4g and then uninstall or freeze the widget if you leave 4g on most of the time anyways. The 4g settings are easily tweaked on this phone if you revert back to stock to change them in the ##3282 menu.
 
I know this has been somewhat covered already, but I'm reverting back to the MMS issue...
I can recieve them just fine, but they won't send out.

Also, the phone often has issues gaining superuser permissions. I redid the flash and couldn't get it to work.
Really like the ROM though. My favorite of all the ones I've tried on the Design.

for your superuser issue i would suggest in clockworkmod recovery go to advanced > fix permissions, and if that doesn't work reinstall SU, If THAT doesn't work...Im not sure what else to tell you other than try redownloading the rom (because you can't simply check the MD5 because HaydenM has still yet to check it himself before uploading and posting under download link).
Now for your MMS issue you will have to (as said earlier in the thread) install a rom that your MMS works fine on then use titanium backup to backup your "dialer storage" app then reinstall this rom and restore the backup of dialer storage.

I did all of the steps needed for the MMS to work... trust me, I read before i flash :p
as for the SU issue, I never thought of that. tonight I'll redownload the rom and reflash all together, then try the fix_permissions step if needed.

i would suggest CWM. I'm not sure if it will work through the terminal. As for the MMS issue, try repeating the steps starting with reobtaining the backup of dialer storage from another rom.
 
OK so i finally got my phone's service activated again so now i can tell ACTUAL issues and attempt to find fixes (let's not get our hopes up on that one) however im thinking the issue with the phone freezing when you push the lock button to wake up the phone when receiving a call may not be directly caused by that, however where did you get the dailer/contact storage from exactly? for instance if you found it on xda please show me the link you got it from or if you got it from a particular rom please tell which one. It will help to speed this process up.

I wouldn't think the 4g widget would cause that much of a drain just updating. It could be doing it though I guess. I would recommend to leave 4g off though when not in use. If there is a issue though, if someone wants to post more info I can look at it. It may be the kernel as well but doubt it.

This is the latest sprint ics which is a bit smoother then the boost, some of the sprint apps are removed but not all. Has no tweaks using v5 with the preset 1.4 GHz setting and on demand which isn't the best battery governor. Left sync on, WiFi on even after I left the house, not great service and I would say about 4 hours awake time with 2 being facebook and the rest web browsing.

Idk if its been mentioned buy is anyone having problems playing videos on YouTube? It keeps saying cannot load video I've cleared data storage fixed permissions idk what the problem is can anyone help please...btw this from is sick one thing that lead me to downloadwas the fact it has a theme to it I HATE stock

I still can't get vvm to work....Is this a problem for anyone else. If so I'll drop back and redo some things....

yeah its an issue for me as well. But lately i'm having an issue getting the MMS fix to stick because every time i receive a phone call out of habit i push my lock button and it crashes and it breaks my mms :/
 
nice rom,but,the biggest problem was the BATTERY LIFE! one and a half total hours life on a fully charged battery.dont really understand what that was about but going to stick with the fuzzion rom for now.will like to see the finished product
