Help .apk

I keep hearing that you can download apps as .apk files from other sources than the Play Store and Samsung Apps on your computer and then put them on your phone via USB, I wouldn't mind doing a bit of this incase there's anything interesting I can find and it'd be easier for me to download the big apps like HD games and such, is there much of a risk doing this?

This would be like asking if there were a risk of my pc getting a virus if i download a lot of porn. The answer is the same. The risk always goes up when you download files from unknown sources.

Define "a lot"...............:hmmmm2::hmmmm::D

If I were you I'd stick to the play store, but any app can be side loaded by downloading the apk and installing it manually

you can get apps by googleing the app name and then .apk but just make sure there free apps and not payed apps that you look for. but i still would stick to the play store. its alot easier.
