differences between htc One X and htc One X+

WARNING! THIS INFORMATION IS ONLY FOR EUROPEAN VERSION OF DEVICE!

htc One X+ has been officially announced by htc on October 2nd 2012. It's a new flagship device from htc in it's android "One" line.
basically it's an upgraded version of it's early 2012 htc flagship device - htc One X

things that have been upgraded:

new 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor
64GB of internal storage as standard (still no microSD slot)
non-replaceable 2,100 mAh battery cell
an improved 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera that shoots 720p HD video
internal speaker on the back has an amplifier now
gorilla glass 2
new improved htc sense image chip
android 4.1.1 out of the box with new sense 4+
project butter and "google now" feature


device will be available for shipping in UK in late October and the price will be 479

Most likely, no.

The Evo is just subsidiary of the HOX. But in my opinion its better than the HOX already. I am looking forward to the new evo though. Even though we just got the evo 4G lte in June :rolleyes: lol
 
I guess my question now is do I buy a European unlocked version and live with 3G or wait for the AT&T locked down (In every sense of the word I assume) version with LTE. :hmmmm:
 
I just barely got my HTC ONE X less than a week and they announced X+, with no doubt superb better updated features...what a bummmer :(
 
Well, I fell in love with my International One X because it's a better beast than the AT&T one IMO. LTE isn't a big deal for me since most of my work and daily life is outside of AT&T LTE areas so I pulled the trigger and ordered the International One X+ from Clove UK today. (Best price I've seen so far hunting around)

Besides, I may be in the minority but the red accents on it really grab me more than the bland white ones of the AT&T version upcoming. I've decided I know what I want and this is it! :D
 
I'm sure it'll drop like a rock. The US/ AT&T version has already gone down to practically free of late.

I wouldn't say a bug fix. Bugs can be fixed with software updates. An extension of the "one x" name in order to stay relevant in this fast pace market. That's more like it.
 
I'm down to my last Android phone selection: One X+ or the Nexus 4.

I'd prefer the Nexus but am disappointed by the lack of memory and LTE. My main driver is direct, and timely, OS updates and the clean Android UI. Does anyone have any comments regarding the frequency of HTC updates or how gummed-up it would be on AT&T?

As soon as I found out it was LG I said forget it. The screen is still saturated (think Motorola), and I knew the camera shots would suck (also confirmed by online reviews - think Motorola, again). Honestly if the Nexus was another HTC or Samsung I would've went with it, even with smaller memory. Too bad.

I'm in that same boat, rowing along side. My company has always provided us with Blackberry's and I was fine with that until about 4 years ago when I bought my first iPhone. I decided the iPhone 5 wasn't really for me, I wanted something completely different and have narrowed down that selection to the HTC One X+ or the Nexus 4.

The updates weigh heavy on my mind and the bloatware as I'm totally unfamiliar with the android platform, I'm just not sure what to expect from AT&T on the HTC. I have a grand-fathered unlimited plan so sticking with AT&T is a no-brainer. That being said, to bloat or not to bloat, that is the question...

Does anyone know if the cases which I bought for One X are going to fit One X+ as well? Is there any change in the body of mobile?
