"HTC One X gets Jelly Bean 4.1 within days" <--- this it 100% true. Its just a question about how MANY days. Will it be 2 days, 5 days, 50 days 100 days? :)

Interesting, but a very shoddy article. Afraid I'm not really believing any news stories about this unless there's anything official within it. I'm still tapping my check for updates button several times a day though.

If the past is anything to go by, the UK's notification of updates will be signified by the fact that mainland Europe is receiving it.

As a side note it is funny how some will exaggerate their comments on posts like that to make it sound like the world's going to end (phrases that start with things like "Many, many HOX users..." usually means "Me, but I'm overly angry for some reason").

Thread on XDA Developers states that India has got it. Mentions a bunch of countries that have received it. Also mentions a list of CIDs that will receive it shortly (depending on HTC's guessed roll-out schedule).

Recently a post from Denmark stated that it had been delayed, but early days in confirming whether that was a mix-up in communication.

It's a long post, but in summary, it's it's been independently confirmed in some countries (good). It might have been halted due to bugs in Denmark (good, depending on your urgency). It hasn't hit Europe yet (boo). It might hit the UK this week (depending on the above).

It has arrived for my HTC_044. There was a small 1.25Mb upgrade, apparently battery, to 4.0.4 something, and then the main upgrade - 356 Mb, so I will have to download at home tonight, as there is no WiFi in my office.

Early knock off today.
 
Just got the update a short while back. First impressions: a little faster, some change in fonts, icons. Will have to explore it to see the actual changers.

How do I know if there is an update for my device? My CID is J__15 if I remember correctly, and I am currently running Android Revolution HD 15 so I cannot really use the "Software Update" feature I think.
 
Yes, just downloaded JB . Haven't really go through to see the various improvement.
First thing I notice is that 7 screen pages is now linked through which means you don't have to scroll back after reaching the end.
The voice search is greatly improved, excellent.
By the way, I am from Singapore.
 
Seems the two that just mentioned it are from either Papua New Guinea, Malaysia or Singapore... If their Profiles are correct :) Update button mashing commencing

According to early reports its rolling out worldwide on one x so going by previous updates it will take a week or so for it to hit Europe and bit longer for USA .
So we might see it before Christmas.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong), the location isn't necessarily a sign. Users with HTC_044 have been cropping up in lots of places as retailers buy their stock from far and wide.

Personally, I'm looking for the notification that HTC_001 has started rolling out - haven't seen anybody with it yet.
 
let me share some of my thoughts of the 4.1.1 and sense+ update

: smoother UI
: new and better notification screen
: display display got darker or sharper. Not really sure but it definitely look better
: sharper camera
: home screens goes like a loop( somthing like S3)

thats it so far maybe i missed some but for me its worth the wait. Hope you guys get your updates soon.
 
I am not in Europe or North America and I have the International version of the HTC One X, officially unlocked of course and the CID is J_15. How do I know if the update is there for me? As I said I am running a custom ROM which doesn't even have the "Software Update" button and shouldn't receive OTA updates from HTC at any case.
