Louder volume

Hey all i was wondering if there was a possible way to make the volume on the n7 louder than it already is when using a headphone to watch a movie. When i turn the volume all the way to 15 it's still pretty low. Any suggestions? Thanks.
 
Probably the only option to increase volume would be using a bt speaker or bt headphones. Passive speakers, like headphones, don't get much oompf.

I use volume+ with headphone simple boost set to +17. Works great with my Klipsch earbuds. Rooted, 4.2 stock deodexed rom. Made a big difference for me. Be sure to select it in sound settings after installation.

i use volume+ on my esteem. just be careful when using it to not set it too high as to blow out your speakers! lol i think i got quite close a few times! :D
 
Something that i'm realizing is that none of these volume booster apps work with 4.2. Have any of you updated to 4.2 and you're still able to use these apps without being rooted?
 
I'm pretty sure volume on several asps increased when I went to 4.2. Poweramp does a good job for music. My volume seems fine at about 80% for most apps.
 
Have you tried watching movies. I fly a lot and i got the nexus 7 so i can watch movies while i'm flying, but it's very difficult to hear the sound of the movie on the plane. I used to use Music volume EQ it used to work with Jellybean 4.1 but ever since i updated to 4.2 it stopped working. Is anyone else having this problem?
 
I just tried Transformers with Play movies with Klipse S4's and can't stand it passed 80%. It's loud without ear buds too.

Not sure how the speaker is on the nexus, but on my previous phones, I physically cut the speaker hole open more, with an exact-o knife and dremel. I removed the speaker grill on my most recent phone, which was easier. Just an option of you don't mind physically altering.

I have 4.2 and speaker boost still works on my nexus 7, also it works on my non rooted phone
