Root [Verizon] Removing a flash and root.

I have an Verizon S3 that is flashed and rooted. Can the phone be unflashed and unrooted back to factory? The day it came out of the box? Or am I stuck?
 
Absolutely. If it was flashed it must have a custom recovery. Boot into recovery and wipe everything. Stock ICS system should be restored (not true - see artman's post below this one). Be aware all user data and apps will be removed too.
